When do I get my Member Tshirt?

Each participant receives one t-shirt per membership year. We will do our best to ensure all members receive their t-shirt on the first day of their class or membership renewal month. Please visit us at the front desk if you haven’t received your shirt!

For continuous monthly programming, how does a participant “age up” or “level up”?

GymKids Programs – Age Up:

Our GymKids preschool programs are all age based. As children celebrate a new birthday, they become eligible for the next step in the program. It is the responsibility of the account holder to notify our office of an upcoming birthday so we can take the necessary steps to ensure the participant is in the appropriate class for future months. Please note that class transfers are based on availability and we can not guarantee that the participant will be placed in the new age appropriate class immediately. If an open spot is not currently available, the student will be placed on a waitlist for their preferred day and time and our office will contact the account holder as soon as an open spot becomes available. Participants currently enrolled in classes will receive waitlist priority. There is continuous movement in our GymKids programs as children age up throughout the various months of the year and we will do our very best to accommodate the needs of each family.

Please note that each GymKids program is designed with a minimum age requirement, but does not have a maximum age requirement. In some circumstances, a lower step class may be more appropriate to meet a student’s current needs (Example: some 3 year olds may be better suited to a parented program and should remain in a GymKids Two class until they show readiness to succeed in an independent environment). We are here to help each family find the best suited class!

We reserve the right to combine GymKids classes if minimum numbers are not met.

Gym360 Programs – Level Up:

Our Gym360 program contains the following class options: Foundations, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Advanced Plus. Participant’s progress will be monitored on an ongoing basis and when a participant has mastered all of the required skills in their Gym360 level, their coach will notify our office that the participant is ready to “level up”. We will then contact the account holder to discuss the next steps.

When passing a level, participants will collect a certificate and a Gym360 pin at our front office on the day of their next class. If a participant’s new level requires a class transfer, our office will work together with the family to find an appropriate class fit. If an open spot in the desired day and time is not currently available, the participant will be placed on a waitlist and will be given waitlist priority for the next available spot. In this circumstance, the student may continue on in their current class and begin working on the skill requirements for their new level.

We reserve the right to combine Gym360 classes if minimum numbers are not met.

For continuous monthly programming, how do you conduct testing and provide progress reports?

GymKids:

Our GymKids preschool programs are all age based and no testing will be performed. Each GymKids class has a minimum age requirement and as your child ages up and shows readiness, they can move into the next age appropriate class. Throughout the year, participants will be exposed to a variety of fun-filled weekly themes and learning outcomes. These outcomes contain skill, gross motor and character development aspects that are all age and developmentally appropriate. Our goal is to ensure a unique and exciting experience that will engage participants class after class.

At the end of each month, participants will receive a sticker to celebrate their successes. A special ‘Memories Day’ will occur in December and June, where caregivers can take pictures and videos inside the gym during their child’s class.

Gym360:

For our Gym360 levels program, testing is ongoing and athletes will “level up” when all skills in their current level are mastered. We hold a more formal “testing week” every 8-10 weeks to ensure coaches are keeping their records up to date.

Account holders will be contacted by our office when their athlete has passed a level. Please feel free to contact our office anytime with questions about a participant’s progress. Each participant may progress at a different rate and we are here to help them along in their journey and meet them where they are at. Our goal is to ensure they are excited about coming to gymnastics and that they feel success along the way.

Please note that some of our Gym360 classes do contain multiple levels and “leveling up” does not necessarily require a class transfer (Example – Intermediate Gym360 includes levels 4 & 5).

When a participant passes a level, they will receive a certificate and a Gym360 level pin. When notified of a “level up”, please visit the front desk before the next class!

Specialty/Adult:

No formal testing is performed for our Specialty and/or Adult programs as class designations are based on the participant’s skill set (Example – All levels, Beginner or Intermediate/Advanced).  The participant’s coach will recommend any class changes.

How do I transfer classes?

We understand that situations can change and participants may age up, level up or a family’s schedule may adjust. Therefore, participants may transfer to a different class at any time, as long as there is availability. If there is a price difference, we will make the necessary adjustments at the time of the transfer. If your desired class is full, we will add you to the waitlist – please note that currently enrolled participants will receive waitlist priority. Please contact us at info@ksgymnastics.com with any class transfer requests.

We reserve the right to switch a student to a different class due to low enrollment, when the participant has difficulty keeping up with the class, lacks sufficient skills compared to the other students, or would be more successful in a different class. All students must meet the pre-requisite age requirement before attending the class, unless permission is granted by our management team.

We also understand that each of our team members has a diverse and unique teaching style and not every participant and coach combination is the right fit.  We want everyone to love their KSG experience, so please bring any concerns you may have to our immediate attention so we can work together to find an appropriate solution.

How do I cancel my continuous monthly enrollment?

It is our aim to ensure the best possible experience for our entire community. If there is anything we can do to better meet your needs, please contact our office to discuss the different options available.

  • Money Back Guarantee: If a participant is not completely satisfied after their first class, KSG will refund the full monthly tuition and annual membership fee with no administrative fees. We strive to create an exceptional experience and we hope that we can exceed all expectations.
  • There are no additional fees for cancellation or dropping classes, however, all class registrations are based on a monthly commitment. Therefore, no refunds or credits will be provided for the remainder of the month if a participant decides to drop mid-month.
  • If you do need to cancel your enrollment for the upcoming month, an official notice of cancellation must be provided in writing to registration@ksgymnastics.com and confirmed before the 15th of the month to avoid being charged and committed for the following month.
  • All notices of cancellation received after the 15th of the month will be applied to the end of the following month. No pro-rated refunds or credits will be given after the cancellation.
  • Please note that coaches and/or team leads cannot drop students from classes and all requests must be received in writing and confirmed by our administrative team in order to take effect.
  • Kyle Shewfelt Gymnastics must meet our minimum class sizes at all times in order to run. KSG reserves the right to cancel any programs with insufficient registration or combine classes in order to meet minimum numbers. If KSG must cancel a class due to enrollment or scheduling issues, we will transfer the participant to the next available class of their choice. If we cannot find a comparable and convenient alternative option and tuition has been paid, a full pro-rated refund with no administrative fees will be provided. Please note annual memberships are non-refundable.
Do you allow membership or continuous monthly program pauses/holds?

We do not allow membership or program pauses/holds.

When a family provides cancellation notice by the 15th of the month, they are removed from the class at the end of the month and the open spot is offered to the next waitlisted participant. We run our classes at full capacity whenever possible.

If the dropped student would like to re-enroll, they must choose a class with an open spot or join the waitlist. We do offer waitlist priority for member re-enrollment, just behind those students who are currently in a program and waiting to age up/level up or transfer.

If a family would like to take a break from gymnastics, yet also guarantee a spot upon their return, they must continue paying the monthly tuition fee to hold their spot.

Our continuous monthly programs do not run in July and August and monthly tuition payments are paused during these months. All enrollments remaining after the last class in June will automatically roll over into September.

Do continuous monthly classes still run in the summer?

No, they do not! All continuous monthly programs and associated tuition payments are paused in July and August. All enrollments remaining after the last class in June will automatically roll over into the exact same day/time/class for the upcoming September. If your family is enrolled in June and needs to make changes to your schedule for September, please join the waitlist for your new desired class beginning June 1st.

We take the summer months to offer any openings to those on the waitlist in priority order starting with those who are currently enrolled who need to age up/level up and then those who are looking to transfer.
